Ammonia? NO! Omonia
I was in Astoria this weekend and each time I find myself there I realize how much I like it.
I'm a borough snob.
I've been a Manhattanite my entire life and leaving "the city" is so displeasing BUT this little Astoria place I find...divine!
We went to a place called Omonia and it was just lovely.
Damn, I wish it was in the city!
The pastries, the windows, the food.
Lovely!
I hope to go back to this place called Astoria for a visit, but I still wouldn't wanna' live there.

Hey Deb, Omonia is only about 7 blocks from my house. I go there all the time for dessert. It's lovely in summer when people are eating outdoors.
